An English oak geometric front server from the late 19th century, with two drawers, carved apron, turned legs and side stretchers. Born in England during the third quarter of the 19th century, this exquisite oak server features a rectangular top sitting above an apron accented with delicate decorative motifs. Two drawers with geometric décor, are each fitted with Chippendale brass hardware and surrounded with bobbin style motifs carved in low-relief, while the apron’s lower section presents a lovely décor of scrolls. The server is raised on five legs, the front ones being turned, connected to one another through plain side stretchers.
