$10,800
A pair of English Regency period bedside tables from the 19th century, with zebra wood top, single drawer, three-quarter brass gallery and turned legs. Created in England during the Regency period that saw the transition of power between George III and George IV, this pair of bedside tables attracts our attention with its striped zebra wood structure. Each table features a rectangular top surrounded by a delicate three-quarter brass gallery pierced with a regular succession of heart-shaped motifs. The apron showcases a single drawer with two wooden pulls opening to reveal an unfinished interior. The sides, along with the back, are made of similar zebra wood panels. The tables are raised on slender turned legs boasting a dark hue contrasting with the upper section’s lighter tones beautifully. With their clean lines and striking zebra wood construction, this pair of English Regency period tables from the 19th century will bring an elegant presence to any bedroom or living room where they could also be used as accent tables.
