Petite 20th Century English Cream-Painted Faux Bamboo Wooden Chest of Drawers

A petite English cream-painted chest of drawers, surrounded by faux bamboo trim and posts resting on bun feet. It could easily be used as a side table while offering nice storage capacity. Light black painted rectangular designs with canted corners adorn the rectangular top and the sides as well as the four drawers, gives this piece a traditional look. The drawers open via simple wooden knobs in their centre. The distressed paint, along with the classical designs bring undeniable charm to this petite English cream chest of drawers with faux bamboo trim, circa 1900. Placed beside a bed or a sofa, it would charm any room. Some of the paint and the feet are not original.
